Heartland Waterfowl - Season 10

Welcome to a milestone for Heartland Waterfowl. Season 10 was memorable for many reasons. Team HW revisit many of their favorite places across the country. However, they also embark on new journeys such as Alaska to pursue an Emperor Goose. Like most waterfowl seasons for many, this season had its highs and lows with memorable and funny moments. The HW brotherhood is special with a variety of personalities, relatable to most groups of hunting buddies. These guys work hard in their pursuit of the migration but love every minute of it.     Late August in North Dakota brings an opportunity at chasing early season Canada Geese, while doing some walleye fishing. It’s tradition to unite with Cody, Ty and Big Mike to kickoff another season in NoDak.

    HW team member, Alex Diecidue was one of 25 non-residents to draw an Emperor Goose tag. The team heads to Cold Bay, Alaska to fill that tag with Four Flyways Outfitters and check off a few more birds on the “Bucket List”.

    Tornado Alley Waterfowl in Kansas doesn’t disappoint by providing HW some of the best waterfowl hunts of the entire year. Including a memorable duck hunt just before Christmas when the windchill was 30 below.

    Happy New Year in West Texas! HW is back at V Land & Holding to kick off a new year with hunting Sandhill Cranes and Blue Quail. Gus Bader of TriStar Arms also joins the HW Team just in time to run into a storm called a “Haboob”.

    This is possibly one of HW’s best trips of the year. High Plains Wingshooters in Torrington, WY provide 4 straight days of shooting Canada Goose limits from their notorious pit blinds.
